The Western Reserve Civil War Round Table (CWRT) was founded in April 1965 and is dedicated to the study of the American Civil War. Its members are those who have a love of history and who wish to learn more about the Civil War. Between September and May of each year, on the second Wednesday of each month, members meet at the Colony Room at the Student Union of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea OH. Members enjoy a buffet dinner and afterwards enjoy hearing a presentation on the Civil War by both local and national speakers.
Those interested in history, especially about the American Civil War, are welcome to visit and see what the group is like before joining. As a member, the individual will receive a monthly newsletter, enjoy learning more about Civil War history, and be able to share these moments with others who have a similar love of history. The group is informal, consists of volunteers to oversee the group’s activities, and is a great place to meet others who share an interest in Civil War history.
